RACE UPDATES 2022

RACE RECAP – ENJOY!!!

Hello and welcome to Jokkmokk

During Red Bull Nordenskiöldsloppet this page is where you’ll find all the updates from the race. We’ll continuously post different type of content right here.

You can either track participants on our live platform here or follow the live data from our time keeping partner here.

We’ll be live on Facebook and Youtube for the last 40 minutes of the race leaders (as of earliest 15:00). We’ll start with a short summary of the race day so better be on time or give us a like and you’ll get the news delivered right to your feed. You can follow us even on Instagram.

If you happen to be in Jokkmokk and would like to follow the race live in the best possible way, we recommend you to experience the start and finish.

Update #17
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE MALE WINNER OF RED BULL NORDENSKIÖLDSLOPPET 2022 IS JOHAN LÖVGREN

Update #16
Johan Lövgren has just passed 179 km so in about an hour from now – around 16:00 – we can expect the final here in Jokkmokk.

Update #15
Henrik Granström is skiing on wooden skis. Old school as back in 1884. He’s passed 57km in 6:50:24 so far.

Update #14
Also on the women’s side, things are still quite close:

Will Frida repeat her victory?

Update #13
150 km into the race, the TOP 5 men are still within 10 min. Johan Lövgren is alone in the break, followed by Klas Nilsson. Will it stay?

Update #12

Less than 70 left for the race leaders. The first lady was +37:14 at her latest check point at 102 km.

Update #11
Also the TOP 3 WOMEN now have come by the turning point at 89 km:

We have Åsarnas Frida Hallquist – last year’s winner – in the lead together with Sandra Adriansson.

Update #10

We have a Swedish duo in the men’s lead at the turning point. Last year’s winner Klas Nilsson alongside his former team mate Johan Lövgren were first to pass, some minute before other strong skiers such as Daniel Strand (NOR) and Christoffer Lindvall (FIN).

Update #9
Greetings from Randijaur

Update #8
No matter if in the front or at the very back, all our participants are equally heroes. So here’s to the ones fighting a bit longer for every km.

Update #7
Earlier outside Jokkmokk today it looked like this when 512 brave women and men started their 200 km long journey into the wild above the Arctic circle. HEJA!!!

Update #6
With the pace increase the race in the front seems to have slightly split up and now we have 3 skiers in the break.

Update #5
Here’s the current top 10 in the women’s race where we have Sofia Lindberg, Sandra Adriansson and 2021 champion Frida Hallquist in the lead!

Update #4
Last year’s winner Klas Nilsson was the first to reach Majves at 41 km together with 13 other skiers. After a rather slow start, pace seems to have gotten up.

Update #3
THE SUN IS OUT!

Update #2
We have the record number of 512 skiers on the track. The leading pack currently consists of 27 skiers and they have passed 28 km.

Update #1
And off they are…

The start was delayed by 30 minutes due to a blocked road but meanwhile, many skiers already have passed the first check point. Stay tuned for more.
